Ive tried most of the highly rated comic reading apps recommended on various tech sites. And while some are okay there was always something missing. With all the other apps Ive bought, adding to and organizing a comic collection takes a back seat over a flashy and often bloated interface. And some of these apps are $5 or more. YACReaders GUI is intuitive and easy to understand at first try. Adding and removing files is easy and there are many ways to do it. I prefer using the (free donation ware) companion YACReader and Server for OS X. You can also use Dropbox or upload via USB and iTunes. Organizing and arranging your collection and adding metadata within the app is straightforward and easy to figure out. For the very reasonable price TACReader offers features that apps costing more than twice as much either do not have or transform into a convoluted process. And should you run into any difficulty using the app the developer will answer your e-mail promptly and help you resolve the issue.

Hands down the best iOS reader. Its super intuitive and complete. Reading on it feels great !

Is it possible to have 2 page in orizontal view?

Great app but the sync with the server YAC could be improved :) there is no percentage importing status. The best solution could be have a native view for the importing operations and not a webview. Love this app :)

Honestly just linking this to Dropbox makes catching up on comics super easy and dead easy. High recommend...

First off the reason I love this program so much is because it has a wonderful Mac Application called YACReaderLibrary. This ability to orginize and quickly wairlessly sync my commic books to my iPad is simply awesome. The progam has the abilty to download content direct to help create a richer experance. There are a few enhancments that I would like to see however the overall experance is awesome. Thanks for developing such an awesome application.

I have been using this app for some time, and it is basically flawless. I have managed content from a computer, using dropbox and other cloud services, and also importing zipped content directly downloaded on the Safari browser on iPad. Works like a charm.

I tap scan button for scan qr code and the app just crashes

There are no filter like ComicGlass. (Automatic filter)

This app keeps crashing like the US economy. Anything new and it gives up. Can you send me a refund please. Im sure you can find me through the apple id this message will get tagged with, in not call the NSA I hear they record everything digital. Or fix it and I shall keep this app :)

Im not the most techinal. So I had some small difficulty transfering my digital comic books over to the app. But the app designer through several emails walked me through it. Now I love how it organizes my books. GIves you several options for how you want to display your digital collection. Easy to transfer books over(now that I know how). Supports a wide range of formats. Bought my first ipad and have been so busy enjoying this app I havent been looking at the other million things one can do on an ipad.

5 star app! has many features and organization is a breeze.. many import options. fluid read speed and intuitive interface.. the import dialog needs work but version 2.0 might deal wit those issues.

This became my primary reader on my iPad.

I tried this and ComicRack and much prefer YACReader for its ease of use and simplicity. YACReader was easy to setup, preserved the way my collection was set-up and works on the iPhone and iPad very well. The great network options were intuitive and helps preserve my valuable iOS device storage.

This comic reader is perfect for me. Super easy to import comics from cloud storages, and viewing in landscape is simply amazing. Keep up the good work!

I switched to YAC Reader from ComicFlow, and I loved it until the moment I realized I cannot mark my comics as read. This is a very basic function that needs to be implemented ASAP. Please implement it as soon as possible and Ill be a happy camper again. I havent come across any other faults so far, except maybe some library layouts looking incomplete at certain positions. Good overall reader, the PC import is quite useful, while not the easiest to use.

Great app yet no icloud support for ipads. I checked the webpage for any info on icloud, it seems like owner said he/she would think about it. Yet 2 years passed no update for icloud. So I am giving up using and switching to a new one with icloud support. Otherwise nice and smooth.

Yacreader best comic book reader for iPhone and PC.

Maybe is the best comicreader for iPad, but we need some optimization and some upgrades. Please a new cool icon. The desktop version is too ugly.
